Turgis Gaillard, a roughly 400-person defense company in Blois, develops and builds the Aarok, a low-cost MALE combat drone. In 2025 carmaker Renault confirmed a partnership to industrialize its drone production, a deal potentially worth up to 1 billion euros over ten years. The Aarok targets ISR and armed missions.
