About Drones Directory EU

Europe has a real, fast-growing drone industry: airframe makers, delivery and logistics operators, agriculture and survey specialists, inspection fleets, counter-UAS houses, defense and ISR builders, flight and data software, U-space providers, and the components underneath them all. Most of that industry is hard to see because coverage points at Chinese and American names. This directory maps the European side. It lists only companies headquartered in an EU member state, and sorts each by what it actually does, one primary category per company.

Where the data comes from

Entries are curated by us from public sources: company sites, funding and contract news, and public filings. Every company is checked to confirm it is operating in 2024 to 2026 and headquartered in the EU. Descriptions are written by us and may lag reality; corrections are welcome via submit.

Eligibility

• In: companies headquartered in an EU member state that build drones, fly them as a service, defend against them, or supply the software and components behind them.
• Out: companies headquartered outside the EU-27, dormant or shut-down businesses, pure resellers, media, and associations.

UK, Norwegian, and Swiss companies are out of the default list by design: the .eu focus is EU-27 headquarters.

Ranking

Filter by category, country, and drone type, then search; listings are alphabetical within every view. No pay-for-rank. Listing fees, when open, only skip the review queue.
